GRADIENT turns marine pollution monitoring from single-point snapshots into three-dimensional contamination maps.
GRADIENT is developing an advanced spatial sampling system for mapping pollution gradients in ports and complex marine environments. Built on 16 synchronized syringe pumps enabling three-dimensional reconstruction of a pollution field around risk sources, the technology is progressing from supervised sampling toward autonomous, real-time operation. By replacing weak single-point sampling with high-resolution spatial data, GRADIENT aims to upgrade environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance for authorities and companies in the marine and industrial sectors.
